The enchanting island of St. Thomas - a Caribbean gem known for its white sandy beaches, turquoise waters, and vibrant culture. With no passports required for US travelers, this tropical paradise becomes an ideal location for group’s seeking a combination of work and leisure. The recently renovated and newly opened

Westin Beach Resort & Spa at Frenchman’s Reef was formerly known as the Marriott Morningstar Frenchman’s Reef. After a very long closure due to back-to-back hurricanes in 2017, they will reopen their doors to travelers in August 2023. I had the fortune to visit the resort pre-opening in June and was absolutely delighted with what I saw. Not only will the hotel be a luxurious retreat for leisure travelers; it also offers state-of-the-art meeting facilities for corporate meetings and incentives. Whether you're planning a small executive meeting or a large-scale conference, the resort has you covered with more than 30K sq. ft. of flexible meeting space under roof plus even more stunning venues outdoors.

Most of the rooms offer views of the Caribbean with a small number overlooking the entrance of the hotel. Large, bright and airy with gorgeous new bathrooms with full size bath products and the newest version of the Westin Heavenly Bed, no one should be lacking for a comfortable night’s sleep. The hotels offers a variety of suites with the Presidential showcasing a soaking tub with stunning tilework behind and an enormous 2-person walk in shower. The Resort also features a large spa and 2 large pools. Most of the meeting space has large windows which will either be a distraction to conference attendees or a welcome addition to long sessions that allows in a great deal of natural lighting. The hotel will also offer 3 onsite restaurants featuring a variety of dining experiences.

Just a few short steps from The Westin is the Buoy Haus – Autograph Collection. This property offers a smaller, boutique option for smaller incentive groups. The Buoy Haus is a collection of 5 buildings holding 94 villa style rooms that are a few short steps from the ocean. I was able to stay here during our site and enjoyed the sound of the ocean morning, noon and night during our time on the island. Each room has a super large private lanai with a sofa, ceiling fan and dining table for 4 making offering an ideal excuse to order room service and enjoy the sunset from the privacy of your room.

St. Thomas is more than just a tropical paradise for leisure travelers; it offers an ideal location for corporate meetings and incentive trips at The Westin St. Thomas at Frenchman's Reef and Buoy Haus. With no passports required for US travelers, businesses can seamlessly combine work and leisure in this Caribbean gem. Whether you're organizing a corporate meeting or planning a memorable incentive trip, this resort offers unparalleled facilities, picturesque settings, and personalized services to make your event a resounding success.
